Windows 11 to be unveiled later this year
Are you still using Windows 7? You might want to start updating your Windows since they are planning to launch Windows 11 later this year.
While there is an update for Windows 10 called the Sun Valley, Windows 11 update has leaked online, meaning the brand new version of the operating system is a reality. Even as Sun Valley is still rumoured to have a refined look for Windows 10, it is not a long shot to imagine some of the features being moved to Windows 11.
The user interface on this new Windows will be redesigned with a new font, Segoe UI Variable, which is already enabled in developed versions. It is not just the fonts and icons that you will get to see, you will also get to see a refresh date for Windows 11. It even goes to the corners across the whole of the operating system, which looks to set it apart from Windows 10.
The big Windows 11 update will not only be for the look of the operating system but also in the useful features that it can bring to many situations.
It will include a battery usage statistics feature at the settings app. This is a feature that you can only get on smartphones; it has now been added to the new version of Windows. There are features that will be moved from Sun Valley to Windows 11. One of them is the ability to uninstall most of the pre-installed Microsoft apps.
You will also get improvements to snap assist for external displays and dashboard for your Microsoft Account that lives in the taskbar.
The Tablet mode has been one of Windows' weaker points since Windows 8. Improvements have been made and it has the new gesture layer feature that will sit above the user interface, allowing trackpad-like gestures on a touchscreen. With these features, one will have a great user experience. BY THE STAR
