Huduma Centres across Kenya have now resumed offering high demand services as the country continues to make gradual reopening plans.

More services including issuance of Certificate of good conduct will now be available in specific centres.

Whereas the Certificate of good conduct will only be available in Centres in Nairobi, other four services can be accessed in other counties.

All KRA services and issuance of police Abstract has also been recommenced.

Meanwhile, issuance of duplicate ID Cards as well as issuance of Birth Certificates will continue in all counties. The two services were the only ones previously available due to the covid-19 pandemic.

This comes after numerous public requests for the sought-after services, necessitating a phased resumption.

Kenyans have been advised to strictly observe all safety precautions set by the government as they visit these facilities.

Proper sanitation, observance of recommended social distance and wearing of masks is expected to be closely monitored inside the Huduma Centre halls. .

Public Service CAS Rachel Shebesh in June said safety measures will be observed once services resume, including ensuring all staff wear masks, providing sanitizers and installing hand washing stations for customers.

Meanwhile, Huduma Kenya has been working on rolling out least 25 end-to-end services online in a bid to ensure citizens get easy access services from anywhere
