‘Stella was a gold digger and a user!’ Andrew Kibe sympathizes with Freshly Mwamburi

May 17 is a day Kenyans remember from a song called Stella by one Freshly Mwamburi. Kamene and Kibe on The Morning Kiss broke down the reality of this song and many men were not happy with Kamene’s thoughts.

About 30 years ago, a young man, Freshly fell in love with a young girl, Stella who was then a student at Kenyatta University. The young man sold a lot to buy her a ticket to go purse her dreams to study medicine in Japan. She returned  to Kenya with not only a degree but with a child and a Japanese fiance.

Kibe thinks Stella knew what more she was going to do in Japan other than seek a higher level of education and so he refers to her as a gold digger. He believes she would have remained loyal to Freshly.

“Look like for me five years ago, I was in Tanzania married so do you want to tell me I would have remained in the marriage because I owe someone something? For Stella, we did not expect her to go out there and see so many things that can make her better for 5 years and then you wanted her to sit and wait for a Freshly? She saw a better life in the Japanese guy and she went for it.” Kamene disagreed with Kibe

In response to this, Kibe angrily said,

You sound like those women who said they can’t cook for men.

Kamene then asked him a question, ‘How can you blame the babe from growing?’

“How do you forget the man who sacrificed everything when you had nothing and now that you have something you decided to disown me? Where is the loyalty? He would have used that money to start a business but he took the money and invested in Stella” Kibe answered

Adding,

She should have just called him and explained that she slipped and she is now with a child not to come back when Freshly os in the airport with banana leaves and his squad to welcome her back only to see another man and a child with stela. She is a user and a gold digger

Kamene thinks that she just wanted to grow herself and chose growth over loyalty. Funny enough so many people were for Kamene even the men who always side with Kibe.
