While it was a sigh relief for Ruto and his team when the registry of political parties referred the matter back to the party organ’s following numerous protests, the recent move by Tuju, which is believed to have the president’s hand, has set a new precedence in the ruling outfit and left Ruto in an awkward position. Already his allies have vowed to protest the decision in court to ensure the due process is followed in making the appointment of NMC members. The party’s deputy secretary general Caleb Kositany said he would change Tuju’s move in court as it was “illegal and fraudulent”
