Churchill show founder Daniel Ndambuki has asked Kenyans to be careful as there is someone trying to con people using his name.
According to Churchill, the person is pretending to be selling bitcoins to Kenyans to help make them rich.
‘I AM A BELIEVER OF HARD WORK PAYS.THERE IS NO SHORTCUTS TO SUCCESS.KINDLY DISREGARD ALL THOSE STORIES OF ME ADVOCATING FOR BITCOINS.USIKUBALI KUTAPELIWA. I HAVE NEVER INVESTED IN BITCOINS.’
Although he now runs the biggest comedy industry, he started from a very humble beginning.
He worked at industrial area walking long distances just to make ends meet
“I USED TO WORK IN INDUSTRIAL AREA WASHING BOTTLES AND I WOULD BE PAID PEANUTS. THE MONEY WASN’T ENOUGH FOR FOOD AND TRANSPORT. THINGS WERE NOT EASY BACK THEN,” CHURCHILL TOLD MPASHO.
Churchill show live recordings have been put on hold after the government banned large gatherings.
The first event to be cancelled was slated to happen at South C but it never did.
In a press statement, Laugh Industry’s Ken Waudo said,
“WE REGRETTABLY WISH TO INFORM OUR LOYAL FANS, SUPPORTERS AND THE GENERAL PUBLIC THAT THE LIVE RECORDING OF CHURCHILL SHOW SOUTH C EDITION SCHEDULED FOR SATURDAY 14TH HAS BEEN CANCELLED.’
Further adding
“WE WISH TO INFORM OUR LOYAL CUSTOMERS WHO HAVE PURCHASED THEIR TICKETS THAT THE SOUTH C EDITION WILL STILL HAPPEN AT A LATER DATE AND YOUR TICKET REMAINS VALID AS SOON AS CONFIRMATION FOR THE RESUMPTION OF PUBLIC EVENTS.’
