Education Cabinet Secretary Prof. George Magoha will release the 2019/2020 universities and colleges student placement results on Monday, April 15.
The Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) opened its online application system on February 6, 2019 for the 2018 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) examination candidates and other eligible Kenyan youth to apply for placement to degree, diploma, certificate or artisan courses.
Candidates who scored C+ and above in the 2018 KCSE exam were allowed to apply for degree courses in Public and Private Universities.
Those who scored C and C – qualified for diploma courses in National Polytechnics and other Technical and Vocational Education and Training institutions while those with D and D+ were allowed to apply for certificate/craft courses.
The candidates, who scored D – or E will also have an opportunity to undertake artisan courses in National Polytechnics and other Technical and Vocational Education and Training institutions.
