The accident on the Nakuru-Eldoret highway.

One person was killed and 7 others injured after an accident involving a bus and a tanker on the Nakuru-Eldoret highway.
Nakuru OCPD Samuel Obara identified the deceased as the driver of the bus.
According to him, the two vehicles collided head at Ngata area causing a huge traffic snarl up.
He said the bus was coming from Eldoret to Nairobi while the tanker was headed in the opposite direction.
Medical Superintendent Nakuru Level Five Hospital Joseph Mburu told Citizen Digital that those injured are responding well to treatment.

On December 9, two people died and 13 others were injured after a matatu collided with a lorry at the Mau Summit area on the Nakuru-Eldoret Highway.
Two weeks before that, another three people were killed following an accident at Poa Place, few meters form Eldoret town.
The accident involved a 14-seater matatu heading to Eldoret from Nairobi and a lorry.
On December 31 last year, at least 36 people died in a horrific crash and 18 others were seriously injured after a bus collided head-on with a truck at the Migaa blackspot.
Police have cautioned drivers particularly those of public service vehicles to be cautious during the holiday season.
