Interior Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang’i said on Friday, October 12, he was not going to apologize again following another accident while noting the road crash in Fort Ternan could have been avoided.
Matiang’i also noted he was going to crack the whip on lazy security officers while admitting his office had to do more to tame the rising number of accidents.He was speaking in Menyenya after a meeting with teachers from Borabu constituency, Nyamira County when he also hinted at revisiting some of the laws governing transport.He said alcohol and illegal issuing of driving licences could also be contributing to the carnage.
