Ex-MCA arrested over murder of Sharon Otieno

Immediate former Kanyidoto Ward Member of County Assembly Mr Lawrence Mula has been arrested over the murder of Rongo University student Sharon Otieno. Mula was arrested on Sunday at Homa Bay Police Station where he had gone for questioning. This comes after Nation Media Group journalist Barrack Oduor who was abducted alongside the late Sharon claimed that Mula connected him to the office of Migori Governor Okoth Obado. Meanwhile, Governor Obado’s Personal Assistant Micheal Oyamo and eight other suspects are also being arraigned in Homa Bay court in connection with the same murder.
