The Kenya National Examinations Council (Knec) has cautioned students and parents against being conned into purchasing fake 2018 examination papers.
Knec chairman George Magoha on Tuesday said that fake examination materials are now in circulation.
Prof Magoha added that some principals are collecting money to buy the papers for as much as Sh10,000.
“Those that will be found will be penalised, ” said prof Magoha during brief for those who will be involved in the administration of exams at Pangani Girls’ School.
Education Cabinet Secretary Amina Mohamed warned that those involved in the buying and selling of the fake papers will be punished.
Teachers Service Commission head of staffing Rita Wahome said teachers who condone malpractice will be punished.
